LOVING THE CHILDREN
Passion
Orphaned himself at age 8, Pastor Joel Bukenya has determined to help address the needs of Uganda's 2.5 million orphans resulting from the AIDS epidemic and past civil wars.
Devotion
With God's provision through co-workers in Uganda and the USA, Pastor Joel is now caring for over 900 orphans, providing love and hope for a better future.
Vision
Pastor Joel envisions having two orphans from each of nearly 50 tribes/language groups of Uganda living at Blessed Hope Champions Academy. Through Cristian-based education, he hopes to positively influence the spiritual climate in Uganda for generations to come.
Latest project - Deaf Learning Center
In the fall of 2016, work began on a new building at Bulamu to house a Learning Center for the substantial deaf community in Uganda. This new initiative will further accomplish the mission of Blessed Hope Foundation to help orphans and disabled children.
